He’s popular in the way that Dr Pimple Popper (dermatologist Dr Sandra Lee) and South Africa’s own Dr Smile (dentist Dr Alexander Faizi Abedian-Rawha´ni) are: he brings you into his rooms, letting you be a fly on the wall as he does an impressive medical procedure.

The audiologist has removed 16 years’ worth of built-up ear wax from a man’s ear, pulled a twig out of a boy’s ear, found a baby tooth inside a three-year-old’s ear, and now he’s extracted 1.4g of ear wax from a patient’s ear.
As before, Raithatha filmed the extraction of the ear wax that’s as heavy as a birthday cake candle.
“I’ve finally achieved and passed the one gram mark in terms of the ear wax extracted,” the Leicester, UK-based pioneer and world-leading endoscopic ear wax removal microsuction specialist says in the video showing the procedure.
“For people who haven’t watched my video or channel before, around six months ago I purchased some precision digital scales that are used to weigh jewellery, I think. So I didn’t really have an idea of how much wax actually weighs and I came to the conclusion, after weighing a few procedures, that one gram is kind of the holy grail.”
His YouTube videos have received more than 205 million views, and besides the natural curiosity to see a wax extraction for yourself, there’s also the educational aspect: what’s really going on inside our bodies and what causes them to not function as they should?
